1  Re: Steam Punk stuff in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by toothfairy51 on: September 26, 2012 05:45:05 PM
Thanks for the comment. I just ordered and received some awesome watch movements from Russia. The gears still function. I'll be making a few things with these and as soon as I teach myself to use rivets and cold connections, I'll be working on some more pieces with more movement. YeY!!! I got the pic to upload!

Hi everyone, I got this catalog in the mail the other day and saw this $25.00 'Vampire Bite' choker. My 35 year old daughter LOVES Halloween, goes all out with decorations and dresses up, too. I decided to make one for her. Let me know what you think.

8  my earring art in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by toothfairy51 on: May 10, 2009 04:21:51 PM
i have soooo mny pairs of earrings and I needed a way to be able to see them all at the same time to be able to pick correctly for my outfit. So, I got 2, 2 dollar packages of 4 pieces each of cork board, like for bulletin boards. Then out of 2 of the pieces, I cut 8 strips and glued them around the back of 2 full pieces. This helps them NOT lie flat against the wall. Then I positioned them and nailed them on my wall next to my dressing table. The nail heads make good neclace holders, too.
Here's the finished product.

let me know what you thiink. Thanks for looking

10  Re: button up shirt turned into a dress. in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by toothfairy51 on: July 21, 2008 04:07:39 PM
Hi Key,
This is what I did with mine. Since I've finished it, I have shortened it more. It's not a tunic anymore, now it's just a waist length top.
I like yours. I hope this helps.
