Just be more careful than I was-the wooden clock came out perfect and sold at a craft show,but the pretty silver one? I somehow slightly bent the clock hands, and it's a a pain making tiny adjustments so the minute,second, and hour hands can move without catching on each other! Roll Eyes
I'm almost done revamping a table clock now.

Trivia time! According to 'Straight from the fridge,dad', a book of slang from the 20's through the 60's, the term groovy refers to records! Yes, the old fashioned platters with grooves.  Grin  If your music was worthy of being recorded, it was 'groovy'.
That is a *fun* little book to flip through!

Hee, I was just a little kid during the 60's, so it's more my older siblings generation-but I remember Flower Power, love beads, mushrooms, peace signs, bell bottoms were popular up through part of the 70's. My big sis would cut the seams on her jeans to insert triangles of fabric to make her own bell bottoms. Yep, showing my age!
