The interesting clay beads are handmade, and a gift from a fellow crafster. Almost all my chain stash-I need another thrift store trip!-,tiny mirrors, gold pearl beads from a cheap necklace, and a long string of beigiesh-greyish pearl beads from an old broken necklace. The base? A cheap piece of wall art from Dollar General, spray painted black, then lightly oversprayed with gold. And good old E6000.

I bet your partner was over the moon to get that raven!
Aw, I bet the neighbors loved that blanket for their little one.
Cute bag!
57  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Using magazine pages without the other side showing through? on: September 19, 2014 06:15:51 PM
Well, the test square with white paper behind it, I covered the back of it in black, also. You can still see the images a bit from the other side. Fine for decoupaging onto a box,but not a lampshade.
Yeah,I may give this project a pass,or break down and do color photocopies.
Thanks!

Thanks! You gotta have fun, right?
My biggest crafting expense is E6000. Grin

I'd never heard of ticker tape quilts! It's very cool.
Good luck, bushbaby!
