Onion skin dye should be pretty! And you made me think of another project to add to my list. I have a small bag full of yarn I dyed decades ago, in college, when I took a natural dyes class. Nothing fancy, I think it was plain carpet yarn? But  we all made dyes from onion skins, elderberries, ect., the teach  bought a little madder and cochineal for us to use, we'd divide the batches of dye and use different mordants for different effects-and I have never done anything with it. I can't knit or crochet and it's not soft cozy yarn anyway, but maybe I could weave something with it? Hmmm....

e6000 is my friend. ^_^
Welp, hit a snag. Sigh, what I see in my head and what my hands make don't always match up! I think I'm going to make two versions of this and see which one comes out best!

You all are crafting machines! Take a bow, everyone!
I'm off to a slow start, the only thing I'm working on is for a swap partner. But I'm getting to try making something new to me, which is fun.

Crafty meetup and cake? Count me in! And my having limited computer access now is having unexpected benefits. I'm halfway done with one piece! I really hope it turns out right. I already want to keep it, that's a good sign! Grin I'm glad I signed up for this, despite my lack of experience working with fiber. I lucked into finding the best mixed media bit to add, that helps!

bushbaby, kookaloo, and sheepblue-I want to make a peace sign wreath now, the yarn colors in the necklace are lovely, and I love the mug cozy-even though I'd be afraid to use it, I'd spill coffee on it!
Computer died, so I'm going to be behind here for a while. Although I swipe mrbookstorebabe's computer when I can.
I have not been crafty at all this month, that must change! Especially since I won't be spending as much time online. Cheesy Cheesy
My wip is at least 35 years old. My maternal grandma handsewed quilts, and I have the last quilt top she started, plus some of the fabric she used to cut more squares, I worked on it off and on for a while, but not for years now. So, I guess it's really my grandma's wip I inherited.
There's an arty...thing...I was attempting with an old printer, and also one with a piece from a blender plus circuit board, I need to see if I can finish them! The metal blender piece looks like an eye!
