1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / it's so bad, I think I may cry on: August 19, 2008 10:29:33 PM
I've stenciled a few things in the past. Nothing major. Never tried a t-shirt before. I'm having a horrible time! I need help in a bad way. I've also never used freezer paper before. I tried drawing the design and then cutting it out but i don't have a very steady hand with the drawing. So i tried running it thru my printer and it demolished the paper. So I decided I would cut the design out and piece it together on the shirt. *sigh* Now it looks nothing like it should. I'm going to scrap it and start over, but does anyone have any advice for me before I mess up again?
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Dangerous Angels swap? on: June 30, 2008 02:37:52 PM
I know there has already been a Francesca Lia Block swap, but I know there are plenty of people who missed it and would do a second one.
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / painting clay, sealing colors on: April 21, 2008 03:32:38 PM
I looked for my answer, but can't seem to find it. So I'm sorry if it's there and maybe I missed it.

When you use acrylic paint on clay, is there anyway to seal it so it doesn't scratch or flake that won't give it a shiny finish?
4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / First time with polymer clay on: April 21, 2008 11:03:44 AM

These are my first ever attempts with sculpty. I had some lying around from a past attempt and fail, so I had to paint it when I was done. I'm not sure if I'm 100% ok with it and I'd love to hear what ya'll think.
I'm obsessed with all things fortune cookie/cupcake- so these were fun for me. The octopus was just a random tute I thought was cute. I need to fix his eyes though.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Jumper styles/opinions. Please! on: April 17, 2008 10:10:12 PM
Mmmk! So.
I really like jumpers. I think they are the cutest thing ever. However, due to my size they aren't always the most flattering. At least not the ones in the stores. All of the over the bust ones make me look pregnant and the under the bust ones make me look like a walking set of ta-ta's. Which I kinda am. My measurements are as follows:

5'9", about 200 pounds
Chest-44.5
Waist-38
Hips-47
Jeans size 18 or so

All of that being said, should I attempt an over the bust one and creatively pleat it to kind of kill the "with child" look, or should I do the under the bust thing and be proud of said boobies? Boyfriend says under the bust, be I know his motive and decided to ask for other opinions.

7  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / opinions needed, please on: December 20, 2007 07:39:37 PM
Ok, so I have a friend who is a Vegan and I was going to stencil her a shirt with the "I am not a nugget" thing from PETA...but I was randomly struck with the bright idea of a cow and "I am not a cheeseburger" just to mix things up a little.

but I can't decide. Help me please
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / dadada I'm just a love machine on: December 12, 2007 04:37:54 PM
Introducing-- my robots. Smiley
These are my first ever "toys" and I'm quite proud of myself. The hands have magnets in them so you can attach them to things, or each other.
They like to hold hands.

and my kitty loves them too! never mind the look on her face.
9  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / fortune cookie goodness on: December 04, 2007 11:22:18 PM
I stenciled a fortune cookie onto my bookbag tonight, but I don't know what should go on the fortune slip. My mom keeps coming up with cheesy stuff that starts with "Miso" as in "Miso lame because I'm not creative"

I need help. Help me be creative Smiley
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / trying my hand with jewellery on: November 26, 2007 09:53:22 PM

I can't decide how I feel about this as a whole...The stone inside (a rather large chunk of Rose Quartz) has sentimental value to it, and I knew how I wanted it to look, but this seems to be as close as I could get. I'm somewhat disappointed at the final outcome, I had it planned as a gift for someone. The only person who's opinion I've gotten so far is my mom's and she doesn't have it in her to tell me if she really thinks it's horrid or not. haha. I'd love any and all feedback that I can get
