51  My bead (not bead-ed, just BEAD) BOUQUET in Beads: Completed Projects by kwchick on: August 10, 2007 07:37:05 PM
This was what I took down the aisle (no I did not throw that bouquet, I would've killed someone, lol). LOT of work . . . I also did 2 flower girl ones, 1 jr. Bridesmaid, and matron of honour . . . using swarovski beads, which I did not, retail for 600$ for 300 stems, which is how many is just in mine! Mine looked just as nice as swarovski, I think, lol. SO, ANYWAY, here they are:

In progress:

Finished, but not where I wanted all the beads to be:

close up in action:

my bm holding them during ceremony:

and a nice pic of me holding mine:

all the ones on the ney were wrapped with ribbon all the way up . . . i thought, why cover up the pretty wire??? i wrapped them at certain points to hold them together with wire and beads

52  Hey, I never posted my AWESOME wrapping paper!!! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by kwchick on: August 10, 2007 07:14:03 PM
I can't believe i didn't post this!
This could go in many categories - stenciling, reconstruction . . . but it fits nice here I think. These were all hand painted & stenciled on regular old meat wrapping paper. I also cut up some old Christmas cards and glued them all too. It is SUCH a nice end result, but, talk about TIME CONSUMING!!!! The year before this I had also bought white ceramic figurines and tied them with ribbon on the presents for the kids. Enjoy! Comments welcome!

And my precious baby sitting in the middle of them

53  My cool & simple wacky nails in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by kwchick on: August 03, 2007 01:54:51 PM
I used to do this at LEAST once a week when I was in highschool . . . the only design I would leave on my nails for more than a day b/c I liked to do my nails every single day . . now, with a baby, I am lucky if I can clear coat my nails once a week - here is a recent pic when I finally got the chance to do them like that again - i see I had lost some creativity over the months!

And this was the paint job for my wedding day . . . I was gettign sick of seeing regular french tips on all the brides!

Anti-french tip-

54  My wedding stuff!!! Pic heavy . . . REALly heavvvvy! in Weddings and Bridal Showers by kwchick on: June 10, 2007 09:28:11 PM
The big day is approaching!! Here's some of my stuff. Lots of DIY, some half-DIY, but all original ideas!

My invitations started with a kit:

My e-ring which fiancee designed including my mother's e-ring in the middle:

My bead bouquet (not all spread out where I want it yet, but u get the picture), I made similar ones for my bridesmaid, jr bridesmaid, and flower girls. Took TONNES of time! There are 300 stems here and it doesn't even LOOK like that at ALL!

My favours (skittles w/flower shaped lollipops) & tags:

Table Numbers:

Place"cards" (oh how I love them!!!)

Centrepieces (I have differesnt colours of flower candles, and I think we are going to put sand in the bottom b/c the dishes are so deep!)

And my favourite Idea I have yet to see anywhere else, my Cupcake Stand!!!!

Though, one glitch . . .  It doesn't end up having much surface space . . . I will work something out!

Thanks for checking everything out! I hope I could inspire someone

55  Re: Easy Christmas Gift Wrap in Winter Holidays by kwchick on: October 30, 2006 09:54:43 PM
Finally got 10 posts . . . Here's my pic. I would recommend this idea to everyone! If someone's b-day or other little occassion sneaks up on you, you just have to make sure you have brown paper and misc. stencils! No need to wrap Uncle Lloyd's b-day present in bright pink "my Little Pony" gift wrap anymore!!! You will always be prepared!
