I've searched for threads, and the two I found were quite old and not very helpful. I'm wondering, to create a CD-piece necklace like that famous one that floats around Wists, should I put it in the oven or microwave? Anything else (like a dish of water) in there? Is it dangerous/toxic? Do burned and original CD's react the same? Thanks for any input, Abby
Well, Christmas is rapidly approaching... I need gift ideas for my brother, mother and father. I got them to fill out a little questionnaire about their favourite and least favourite colours, colour combinations, symbols/patterns, animals, crafts, smells, movies, music, TV shows, characters, books, foods, and hobbies.
Here's some ideas that I have for them: D for Dad, M for Mum, B for Brother. D-Remote control organizer for the couch arm M-Book on how to use the techno-devices that my Mum can't figure out All-Etched glasses - "King of Suits" set (King of Hearts, Diamonds, Spades, Clubs) for Dad -- poker fan. - Chess set (King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Castle, Pawn) for brother -- we used to play together. - Flower set for Mum -- gardener. D/B-Laptop bags for brother and father, matching designs? All-Make and fill stockings for everyone. All-Screenprinted/stenciled t-shirts with each person's favourite quotes.
Okay, I've lurked for long enough, time to post my first completed project! I made this a few months ago, in a caribou tufting workshop. It's a 5x5 frame, which I painted myself as well, and plain old caribou hair (dyed different colours)... Hmm, flash reveals some interesting features that aren't visible normally... By the way, the edges of the mats and so on, that appear quite rough, are actually smooth. It's Imageshack's horrid resizing utility that did that.
Just wondering where the smiles are from, as they are extremely similar to the default smilies for a certain other board host! Perhaps customized smilies could be made? We also need a few more smilies, such as a laughing one and a better tongue one. If you want, I could help with them (I'm pretty good with graphics).

Well, I saw that in the Clothes category, there is a board for Curvaceous Crafters, understandably. I'm a petite girl (love how they say petite, slender, or delicate rather than minute, diminutive, skinny LOL), and it's so hard to find clothes that fit right. That's why I'm getting into sewing, so that I can make customized, awesome clothes that actually fit! I'm sure I'm not the only diminutive petite crafter here, a board for Petite Power would be soooo welcomed by me, at least! Comments?
