1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Creative Home Arts Club on: March 12, 2008 06:20:10 AM
I hope this is on-topic here. If not, mods, please advise which board to use.

Does anyone have any experience with the Creative Home Arts Club? Supposedly you get to test products and get all sorts of magazines and books and such for $1/month. It's one of those too good to be true so it probably is things, but I thought I'd ask some experienced crafters before I chucked it in the recycling bin.

Thanks.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / My Very First Completed Project (Scarf) on: October 17, 2006 06:52:25 PM
I'm still learning, but I finished my very first project (well, technically there were a few hats before this, but the gauge was way off and they're not worth posting...) this weekend and I thought I'd show off.

And a close up of the stitch pattern.

The pattern is from Crochet Today. It's the October issue, I think. It's part of a set, I'm planning on making the hat next. (Who knows, maybe I'll even get the gauge right this time. Wink)
