That's awesome!  I love how it's a game on both sides, and I like the pieces you picked for the Xs and Os.  What a great idea!

That's really pretty!  I love how bright the colors are.  And the back looks good too, even with the different fabric.  Great Job!!

Awesome quilt!  I love how simple it is, and the colors you used.  I think I might try something like this next I really like the zig zag pattern.

I love them!  My favorite is the Lydia one -- I love the colors, and the simplicity.
17  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Full Moon Forest - Charm Pack Quilt on: January 06, 2008 08:31:55 AM
This is my first quilt to actually complete.  I have started several quilt tops, but I'm a perfectionist and get frustrated and stop when I mess up.  I decided on this one that I was going to complete it no matter what, and that I was going to quilt it and bind it no matter how badly it turned out!

Here it is, hanging from my curtain rod:

It's only a lap size quilt and not very heavy, but I can't imagine trying to quilt anything bigger!

The stitching isn't perfect, and I didn't get the squares all lined up perfectly, but I like it.  I think the person I gave it to liked it as well.  (I hope it doesn't damage a relationship by giving a quilt early on... I really don't want to scare my new girlfriend off...)

I used the Full Moon Forest charm pack because I loved the colors and prints, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on fabric for a quilt that I wasn't sure I'd complete.

I'm glad I finished it, and I think it turned out nicely -- now I'm not so scared to try another one!

Wow, all the aprons look awesome!!

I happily received my package from Diamunds, and it was fantastic.

Chocolate!!!  It was so good, I had to hurry and take a picture before I ate it all.

An adorable and so creative recipe book.  I can't wait to try some of the recipes, of course while wearing my new apron...

Ta-da!

It's reversable!!  How AWESOME!

The rainbowy cute side:

It's so awkward trying to take pictures of yourself in the mirror...

The holiday side!:

Thanks, Diamunds!!  You rock!
20  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Last-Minute Patchwork + Quilted Gifts on: October 10, 2007 07:21:19 PM
The 6 month old baby I gave it to liked the puzzle ball a lot... it's good to chew on!  I think it would be cool to add something to outer pieces, like embroider numbers or letters or colors or something.  A giant puzzle ball would be awesome.
