This is my first quilt to actually complete. I have started several quilt tops, but I'm a perfectionist and get frustrated and stop when I mess up. I decided on this one that I was going to complete it no matter what, and that I was going to quilt it and bind it no matter how badly it turned out!
Here it is, hanging from my curtain rod:

It's only a lap size quilt and not very heavy, but I can't imagine trying to quilt anything bigger!

The stitching isn't perfect, and I didn't get the squares all lined up perfectly, but I like it. I think the person I gave it to liked it as well. (I hope it doesn't damage a relationship by giving a quilt early on... I really don't want to scare my new girlfriend off...)

I used the Full Moon Forest charm pack because I loved the colors and prints, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on fabric for a quilt that I wasn't sure I'd complete.
I'm glad I finished it, and I think it turned out nicely -- now I'm not so scared to try another one!
