A few more blocks.  I had some Red Heart varigated yarn called "woodsy" that I thought looked like camoflauge colors but when I went to Wal-Mart they had "fall" colored varigated yarn that I thought would make a really pretty blanket combined with the woodsy colored blocks but the color value is too close together so they blend together and the pattern wouldn't stand out so I'm going to use "Light Sage" and "Fall" in one blanket and woodsy and some other solid color in the other.I thought maybe a light tan but my daughter is better a picking colors and she said she likes burgandy.  She is probably right.

I borrowed my daughters camara.  I hope this is a better picture.I finally finished the daisy blanket with the black back ground.  I made 90 blocks and used 23 different colors for the daisies

I lost track how many skiens of black yarn I used.  It sure is a heavy blanket!

I finaly got batteries for my camara so I see if I remember how to post a picture
this is a picture of the new blocks for my next blanket
I thought it would be a fun blanket to have hunter orange daisies with a camoflage back ground.  I ended up with a varagated yarn by red heart called "Fall" and contrasting color light sage with pumpkin orange daisies.  My flash seems to be too bright so this is not a good picture.

I'm almost ready for halloween


the orange took almost three weeks.  I hope to get the green one done in two and then I can go buy the yarn for a dark purple  blankie with a white web.

also, I think it would be awsome to have a black blanket with a glow in the dark web.  Does any one make glow-in-the-dark yarn?  I have seen glow-in-the-dark embroidery floss, so it should at least be possible to make yarn that glows.

after I getr it put together, I think I'll put a red border all the way around.

Hi.  Just finished this doll.  She doesn't have a name yet.  Any suggestions?  I need to make her a dress.  My daughter wants me to make one for her pink and black with hot pink hair.

Oops!  I took a picture of the wrong side.  Anyway, this is the Spider-man blanket I made for my son.  I'm not happy with the red.  I ran out and had to buy more so, of course, it is shaded.  I should have frogged it back to the black row and then changed to the new red and then it might not have been as noticable but I didn't think of that untill I was finished with it.  duh!

I finally got batteries AND I learned how to post pics myself so I don't have to bug my daughter to do it for me.  Yipee!

yipeee!  I can post pictures all by myself now!  I feel like a grown-up big girl now!  LOL

This is a blanket I just finished that has a similar pattern.  It is called SUN RISE-SUN SET.  It was a free pattern from red heart yarn hanging on the wall at Wal-mart back in the yarn section.

Gonna try one more time.
