2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Simplicity 3882 help on: June 25, 2007 02:30:19 PM
Hey sorry i know you all are probably sick of this simplicity pattern.
i just bought it today along with some light yellow knit fabric ( i have a thing for yellow  Cheesy)

anyway for those of you who have made this dress A. i was wondering if tricot is a necesity. or could i just make the dress without the tricot?

im only asking because i have no idea what tricot is. and i would prefer not to spend anymore money (seeing as how i dont have any left anyway >.<)

help greatly appreciated! <33
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / It's the "What the hell am I supposed to wear with this" purse on: June 21, 2007 02:30:57 PM
So yesterday i got a little bored and decided to sift through all the fabric i have (which in all reality isnt that much...)

I came across three different kinds of fabrics that i had used together for a tote to give to my crazy friend for her birthday.

And because i just dont have enough slouchy hobo's i decided to make this

Although i have no idea what i should wear it....

anyway here ya go. sorry the pics arent that great.

The straps are a little too big. and for some reason the purse cam out enormous compared to my other hobos... but oh well

and the bright green inside has a pocket with a pen holder

comments appreciated!! Cheesy
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Best English Project Ever! on: June 19, 2007 10:43:43 PM
So in english this past year (im so lazy to not have posted sooner)  we read fahrenheit 451. At the end of the book we had to pick from a list of projects to present. of course i did the original artwork.  and this is what i came up with! (they have themes from the book integrated in them). sorry the pics arent very good.

This one is simply about the freedom of speech and the consequences of losing it.

and up closer

and this one is about beauty. and how society is too wrapped up in our technology and stereotypical beauty.

comments appreciated!!
