1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Short Rows Knitting Chart on: August 11, 2008 09:11:39 AM
Hi all!

I'm currently writing up a knitting pattern that involves short rows, and I would like to include a chart of the pattern for more visually-oriented crafters.

However, looking around, I haven't been able to find any examples of knitting charts involving short rows-- *is* there a standard way to denote short rows in a chart?

Of course, if necessary, I can just make up my own notation and be sure to document it in detail in the pattern, but, of course, if there is a notation that people are more likely to recognize, I would prefer to use that.
2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Nickel-free/hypoallergenic snaps on: April 09, 2007 01:32:22 PM
Does anyone know where to find these?  They're relatively popular with organic baby clothes makers, but I can't seem to find just the snaps available for sale anywhere.  I've been using the clear sew-on nylon snaps, but I don't really like the feel of them

Allo all!

I am new here to craftster and, well, I rather like zombies.  So, without further ado... it's cyborg zombie time!

Crochet with wool and acrylic yarn, stitched with metallic thread.  The metal bits are eyelets and one side of a snap.  The inside is partially lined with red felt so it shows through at the mouth and side.  The exposed wires are from an old phone cord.
