It doesn't look like it to me(gussetted that is). I'd say it's a really wide moon shape(ends pointing more outward)

Yup, I agree.  Took a look at the zoomed version and I can see where the seems meet on the left side. 

Love it!!  Totally sympathize with you about the weather.  I've made a bunch of matching sundresses for me and my daughter, but its too darn cold outside...sigh...
