11  Re: oh shrinky dinks, where have you been all my life? in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by tasi292 on: June 16, 2007 10:20:40 AM
OMG!! I DID IT!! Grin  Sorry for all the yelling, but if you knew how intimidated I was by these things you'd be yelling, too Wink  Here it is:

The one on the left hasn't been shrunk.  That's the size I started with to get the one on the right.  I just put a coat of the Krylon Clear Glaze on it and it's perfect.  I wanted it to be extra glossy and this is perfect.  Gonna put another coat on in an hour.

Thank you, kitschkween for posting your HK creation.  If you hadn't I probably would've put off doing this and now I'm totally addicted Smiley

Darn!  Hubby says we have to leave in 2 hours for a trip to the lake...sigh...  You know you're a crackster when you'd rather be crafting than on holiday  Roll Eyes

Here ya go Smiley  For these free kits and some flower and denim elements,  PM  me and I'll send you the links to the downloads.  Please don't reply to this here as I may not see it and I don't want to feel like I'm totally hijacking this thread  Embarrassed  Grin

Where can I learn more about digital scrapbooking? I'm totally intrigued by the idea! I can't cut a straight line to save my life and I'm a total putz when it comes to most paper crafts, but I love to create layouts etc. so I'd love to give it a shot!!
Thanks in advance!

The best place to start is a place called ScrapbookBytes.com.  They have a place for beginners and people are always willing to help.  They also have tons of free stuff Wink Some of my other fave places are rakscraps.com and ShabbyPrincess.com <--she's my all-time fave digi-scrapping designer AND she's got freebies, too Grin

Those are lovely Smiley  I am totally addicted to digi-scrapping.  I'm a graphic designer and this fits me perfectly.  Here are some of my fave layouts although I've done HUNDREDS since I started 3 years ago.  I make my own digi-kits so if you'd like some free stuff lemme know.  The following lo's are all made with kits by me Wink

16  Re: Ongoing Offer What You Have (Crafts/Supplies) Swap - April in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by tasi292 on: April 13, 2007 11:43:10 AM
Im tasi292 (Ria).  Ive been approved and would like to claim jloveg for the yellow and light blue fabrics.  This is my first claim.  My list:

Pick any 2 from the following 4 items:

1.  2 yds of stretchy crushed velvet, hot pink

2.  McCall's Toddler's Couch Pattern (never used)

3.  Simplicity Slipcover and Pillows Pattern - never used

4.  1 yd Hot Pink Tulle & 2 yd Baby Pink Tulle

The following are 1 choice:

5.  Custom Cosmetic Brush Organizer similar to this one:

Larger pics can be found here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=163703.msg1659148#msg1659148

Let me know your fave color combos & patterns (floral, stripes, solids, dots, etc) and Ill whip it up Wink

7.  A custom chickie or dude avatar like these

For this you'll have to provide me with a pic of your face or you can give me eye, hair, skin color, and face shape and I'll wing it.  Tell me what you'd like your background to be or what you want to be wearing, accessories, clothing, etc.  Make it as personal as you want.  I'll even send you the PSD file so that you can further design your own bg's and accessories.  I like to change my chickie every holiday or special occasion Wink  I know it's not quite a craft, but I'm a graphic designer and I thought people might like it.

I'm so excited, this is my very first swap  Grin
