I gotta idear. I see you like red and black ( my favorite colors ! ). Paint the shoe rack red then lay some lace over it and spray with black or vice versa. I think it would look nice with your decor. But, thats my opinion.

I like that idea! hmmm I think I have some leftover spray paint it's black tho. hmmm I think the red would be less of a wash out, I have to have some black lace somewhere...got me wheels spinning  Cheesy

Is this ALL your shoes ?
LoL no not even close  Embarrassed

Your husband had a great idea and it works quite nicely. You have awesome shoes and a smart husband ( shhh dont tell him though ). I think some paint would make it look better if you want an improvement ( which it dont need ). Awesome way to recycle. He definately has an idea for 'From trash to Treasure'.
I try to recycle as much as possible he always gets on to me for holding onto "junk" which I claim I have plans for.

Looks like it works great-good idea! It's funny,I was at Goodwill yesterday, and they had a metal toddler/youth bed stood vertically, and I couldn't help but think"hmmm, wonder how that would be with fabric stored over all those bars?"
It's a wonder we craftsters ever throw anything away-it's all got possibilities.I love your shoe rack, and am jealous of all your shoes.Smiley
Never thought of that, I bet it'd be great for fabric. It would get it out of my totes and stay less wrinkled
First, AAHHH the shoes....one of my weaknesses.  That is such a great idea, and so much better than all the shoes piled on the floor of the closet...it takes like 10 minutes to find a match.
*bows* yes my weakness as well. I honestly got tired of tripping over them so I dubbed my DH as a true genius! And he supports my shoe addiction!  Tongue

Glad everyone liked it  Grin

Sorry had no clue where to post this. Please move if it's in the wrong place. My DH came up with this wonderful idea to turn my broken wooden futon into a shoe rack! I still think it needs something... but here it is!!

good old walmart has some very  Shocked stuff this time of year. I just purchased a couple pairs of vinyl gloves for like $5 and they lace up. Very sexy. I am so happy to see they are bringing vinyl back, last year at Halloween time I got sick of seeing yuppie stuff,  Tongue

vinyl is a great option especially if allergic to latex Undecided sorry!! If you are uncomfy in tight pants go with a nice sexy skirt, it doesn't have to be skin tight to be sexy  Tongue

Mind my rambling, it's 6:40 and I am half awake getting ready for work here is what I came up with after brainstorming
Vinyl, latex, leather, pleather... corset or waist cincher. You should look for a collar of some type. Or cute choker. If you can have someone go with you on a leash, even better...(it's kind of hard not to figure it out then) def. want to wear some type of spiked heels or boots. Lots of rings...I have tons of silver rings. Check into "slave chains" which are a braclet that attached to a ring, pretty cool. Hoop earings or small dangles maybe? I wear hoops. Either vinyl, leather, or pleather pants LATEX is the best of all but erm, it's not fun to take off as much as it is to put on.
Wear cute chain belts or a hand cuff belt (I found one online)
Stockings are awesome, fishnets or something similar. I have fishnets with vinyl tops

ok I am out of ideas at the moment. Deff want a bright red lipstick maybe black outline? Heavy eye liner.

Actually if you could find a cute catsuit with a nice pair of pumps and your whip I doubt anyone will stop and ask you, they will probably just stare.

That I have a lot of downtime, and I am a horrible cook and I use craftster for all my recipes (which isn't really a lie) and that I keep myself busy and stay looking busy while NOT interfiering with anyone else, and ALL my work is always done before I access it (which is true). And it keeps me from ripping all my hair out because it's my de-stressing mechanism. I will update you and let you know what happens lol
