What an inspiring challenge!  Will have to put it into my head tonight to let my sleeping brain work on it.  Sometimes that really works!

Totally cool.  I wish someone had given that to me when I had colon cancer.

Five  years cancer free!  WOO HOO.

Five years from now that's what your Mom will be saying.

Those are adorable!

I'm a thrift shop junkie and now I'm going to be doing some serious frame shopping there!

Thank you!  A real quality printer is something I'll have to look into, but think I'll try one of the smaller ones and limit myself to 8-1/2 x 11s.

The violin on the left is a real violin, silver leafed. ( the Mozart Festival provided it.  I felt bad ruining a real instrument, but I guess it was cheap, and disposable...but still).  The one on the right is paper mache, copper leafed and then wrapped in copper wire.  I wrapped the real violin in plastic and then layered it with paper and paste, basically encasing it in paper mache and then cut it off when dried, patched it back together, etc.  Attached them to a really awful painting I did that I covered over in silver and copper leaf, then added the bow.  What do you mean when you say the one bow can be a powerful message in the world right now?

I love it!  Our cat brought home a baby oriole this summer, it had down and only a few feathers so we raised it inside in a make-shift cage.  I fell in love with the little guy.  He's now, hopefully, down in Mexico, eating a mango.

Your art and embroidery really talk to me.  Fabulous work.

I have a question.  When you say "limited edition" prints, are you printing them off the computer, having giclees made, or what?  I'm looking to do some art that I can price cheaper than my originals and kicking around ideas for prints/reproductions, whatever.  Can you share your marketing ideas?

Thanks!

For some reason the photo wasn't showing up.  Think I've got it fixed. Thanks for looking.  Any comments greatly appreciated as I haven't submitted it yet so changes can be made.

Thanks!  He's really happy with it...says it has a Johnny Cash look about it. (My sweetheart's a musician).
