aww...i'm sorry you guys had so much trouble with this swap!!  that really stinks.  Undecided  i was lucky enough to have an awesome partner on both ends...although the person i was sending to seems to have disappeared suddenly.  so i decided to post pics of the last packie i sent her, cause i was really proud of it.
so.....Goddess....i was your secret craftster!!  Cheesy  Did you guess right?  are you still around somewhere??? okay, on to piccies:
she told me that she loved Asian stuff, so i decided to do that theme for her last package....
first, i found these great sets of beads at walmart that i thought looked asian-ish, so i decided to make bracelets and matching earrings...

then, i had this idea that i'd found on craftster a LOOOONG time ago and had been wanting to do forever.  it's a mini Zen garden with a little rake and it's actually quite soothing!
here's the outside top:

and the inside; the little rolled up papers are fortune cookies that i'd been saving up for no reason at all:

and then i had a TON of chopsticks that i'd also been collecting (i ate a lot of chinese food that month!) so i wanted to try to make a journal out of them.  let me tell you...that was a lot harder than it looks!  but it turned out okay.

and a picture of the spine:

then a little zen like bookmark:

and these last 2 things, my mom actually made for me.  (cause she rocks!) the first is a really cute silk pouch with symbols all over it and a drawstring:

and the 2nd is some napkins and coasters out of a asian fabric and serged (Sp?) around the edges.

to finish the package off, i put in an Asian cookbook i found, two cups and saucers and candles from the target dollar section when they had that stuff a few months ago, a mini buddha statue, 2 fortune cookies, and 2 sets of fancy wood chopsticks.  i think that's it.  <thinking> yeah i'm pretty sure.  so there ya go...i just wanted to show somebody what i'd done.  Wink

oh!  btw...if anyone needs any chopsticks, i still have tons left over!  Grin

bkrenning....i love the blue pics!!  those are awesome!  and i think the calendar idea was great also!  your partners were lucky to get them!

fort_loop....thanks again for being a swap angel!  Kiss  another picture in a grocery store! (i think) i'm so jealous.  <pouts thinking i should have made alleycat do those grocery shots anyway>

oh!  and i finally got some of my favorite yellow shots on the computer....so here we go.

first is the mustard shelf at the grocery store!!

and second is a HUGE field of yellow flowers...sunflowers?  daisy's?  not sure...

thanks again princess dukki!!  Kiss

gosh i can not believe i haven't posted yet on my packie!!!  Roll Eyes  i got it last week, but i wanted to get pics up too, so you all can bask in the loverlyness that melmelon sent me!! so i finally did last night...and here they are:
first we start with this truly awesome FRAGGLE ROCK clock!!  yep...you heard me...FRAGGLE ROCK!!!   i already know where i'm going to put it, right next to my bookcase.  awesome, truly awesome

next we have what looks like a normal, but still very cool, vintagey fraggle rock kids book.....but it's not!! it's my very own Fraggla Rock BLANK BOOK!   Grin  <can you tell i'm excited?  cause i am>

here's a side pic of the inside covers....

and the spine...which looks incredibly hard!  and i need to know how you did it, cause i just sent MY secret craftster a book with a spine made out of chopsticks <oooh...i think i finally gave myself away there Wink> and it was sooo hard!  so i would definately appreciate a tuturiol on that!

soo...not only did she give me a super fun journal and clock, but she also included the pages out of the book so i could use them for my own crafting purposes.  (i'm thinking magnets and pins...lots of 'em)  i think this was probably my favorite package of all, melmelon.  thank you so much for being such an awesome nssc!!

btw...i found a few pics that i think never got posted (bad bad craftster) so i wanted to share them with ya'll too:
a great scarf, knitted in the super soft/fuzzy black and pink yarn (pink is the same as my cute little piggy she gave me later on)

my second favorite thing (after the fraggle rock stuff)...a whole pumperkin family!!  (at halloween of course)

so yay for my nssc melmelon!! you are SOOO getting a packie sent your way soon to thank you!  probably in august.  i already have some ideas!  Grin

mwa ha ha... now i get to finally return the goodness to kendaljay for sending me such a fantoostic package some months back!

IS SHE AN ORANGE ROCKS!!!!
oh my gosh!!!!!!! and you soooo did!!  Grin  i'm sorry i haven't gotten to post about the fantabulastic package yet, it really sucks not having your own internet!  anyway......it was simply great!  let me see if i can remember everything:
**First of all the box was really heavy, so heavy it had stickers on that said something like "lift w/ care, extra heavy"  Shocked
**a big baggie full of little trinkets, old jewelry, some cool bottlecaps w/ pics glued on some, buttons, etc...
**a bunch of bags of small game pieces: pick up sticks, small pebble-type things that i at first thought were candy (cause i'm a dork  Roll Eyes) and then decided they looked like Reversi pieces, some chess(?) pieces that i've already used for an altered book swap.
**a bunch of fabric scraps that alleycat has already claimed a couple of
**some stamps and glitter glue and a paper punch
**a whole bunch of miscellaneaous (sp?) paper scraps and stickers, etc....including one cool pic of.....dang i can't for the life of me remember what it was now!  Undecided

okay, i'm gonna have to go and make a list and take pics and come back tomorrow, cause i can't remember now! pthh....anyway just wanted to say thanks sooooooo soooo much ISAO!  you more than out did yourself!  Cheesy

***Edited  woohoo!!  i got some pics taken!  k here we go:
first the warning sticker on the box (think there were 3-4)

next, the box as a whole when i opened it...wow!!!

and now a closeup of some of the trinkets, i love the old jewelry, gonna have to think of something special for it

and i got 3 vintagey embroidering hoops, the small circle one is so cool, it has a twisty handle instead of a screw

and these are bath fizzy-type things (alleycat was enchanted by them), but i wonder if i can glue them to something?

the fabric scraps

some patterns and a few of the paper scraps...i think my mom will like the bunny pattern a lot! (and alley's hand-she was being sassy!)

stickers and more paper stuff

glitter, and stamps, and punchs, oh my!

an old spin magazine that will definately be cut upon soon (as soon as i read it Wink) and 2 hard bound books w/ the guts taken out of for me already

a frame, some homemade paper, and a christmas craft book

and my personal fave, which alleycat thought was highly creepy, a picture of.....well see for yourself

so there you have it!!  i know there was lots more, but that's the highlights!  thanks again so much miss orange! Cheesy

okay........i'm finally posting!!  yep xmelinda, your blankie is the same. we did do them seperately though, i had a terrible time seeing as i'm left-handed and my scissors were dull and i was really slow....anyway enough pouting Cry  on to pressies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

let me set the scene for you first:  it's christmas eve, i'm hanging out at my mom's apartment.  my dad calls me and says i got a package just delivered!  of course i say"bring it! bring it!" Grin  so he does, and it is hugemongous!  i'm getting all excited again just thinking about it! Cheesy  so i start to open it and let me tell you.......it was incredible.  can i be totally honest here?  of course i can, this is the super swappers!  okay here goes:
I
LOVED
IT!

this was such an amazing and well-thought out gifty, seriously it was probably the best packie i've gotten in a swap!  now i know you all are dying to know who had me.......nah i wont tell you!  just kidding.  Wink  BkRenning4 aka Kristine sent my awesome package.  there were 10 (please tell me that's right, i cant remember) gifts total, and she took my answers to the questions and based each gifty on that.  now let me see if i can remember them all (not in any order):

*first was a very cool set of christmas cd's in a leopard case, which i loved!  it's so funny, cause i was thinking about buying the brian setzer cd like two weeks before.
*then i got two fleecey boa scarves, one cheetah (?) print and one leopard. so soft, i love that kind!

*then some cute dish towels

*and this cutey patootie snowman ivy bowl w/ a kitchy glittery blue collar Cheesy

*and this great ornament......did you seriously make that yourself? i am in awe  Shocked

*and two bracelets made of pink and blue "natural type" stones, they feel so good against my wrist! nice and cold and heavy. yeah i'm a freak

*several different pairs of earrings, but these were my favorites (and the others are at my moms still) Tongue

*then this incredible, truly incredible last gift: a scrapbook started JUST for me about Greece (because i said i always wanted to go there)  oh i loved this so so sooooooo much, you have no idea!  and these pics aren't that great, but you can see some of bkrenning's handywork.

and then, as if that weren't enough, she sent my sis alleycat something too!  let me tell you she was excited about that!  Cheesy  she made her a hanging mobile out of invisible wire and lots of georgemous sparkly shiny beeds......it'll go perfect in our craft room when we move.

okay i really hope i didn't forget anything (i'm sure i did though) but i'll post back later if i remember.  i just wanted to show off this super super super swapper gift from the most amazing swapper ever, bkrenning!  seriousley, thank you so much kristine!  Kiss
