1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: "1000 Journals" swap...ongoing??? on: November 23, 2009 10:43:41 AM
Ohhh I love this idea! I also think that having an ongoing swap like this could get very expensive and time consuming though. I like the notebook pages idea-- that way if someone flakes or decides to opt out it won't screw everything up. Heres to hoping this idea comes to life!!!!  Grin

Gorgeous! Your color scheme is perfect, and it looks so comfy! Did you use a pattern? I understand you're selling it so if it's a personal pattern I understand not sharing!
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / miss scarlet makes a visit-- tampon cozy. on: September 22, 2008 04:15:27 PM
So one of my good friends is moving to a different city at the end of the week. I wanted to make her a gift, nothing big, and something practical but cute. At work I always forgot certain "items" when aunt flo came to visit, and she was always there for me. However, she had no good storage process. Therefore..... tada!

I have combined her love for hello kitty, need for organization, and my incredibly minor sewing skills.

8  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: baby gifts on: August 28, 2008 08:44:18 PM
A taggie is usually about the same size as a small quilt. It usually had pieces of ribbon or strips of soft cloth coming off of it for the baby to grab onto, helping to stimulate and entertain them.
