im gearing up for the fall with my craftiness, and i was looking at participating in more craft fairs this fall/winter. besides department and renegade, does anyone know of any fairs going on? ive searched online but havent found much.

im just new to vancouver, im living in kits with my boyfriend for the summer. i was wondering if you had some suggestions of where you pick up your fabric here in the city. my boyfriend mentioned a place in coquitlam, but i was looking for something closer.

im thinking about making a stencil that i use on the entire shirt to make a pattern. its quite intricate so i wont be able to use freezer paper.

have you had good results with hairspary? i read that aqua net is the best? can i find that anywhere?

i know this isnt really about knitting but i figured you smart kids would know the answer.

can you buy wool to felt anywhere? like the average craft store.

im looking to buy one of the SNB books. im just teaching myself to knit now.. so which one of the SNB do you think would be better for learning purposes?

i have kinda a dumb question.. but, i was wondering where everyone goes for craft supplies in the city? ive been going to the hanncok fabrics on broadway near loyola university, but they dont have a very good selection of things.

i live off of belmont on the red line, if anyone has suggestions as to places that are easy to get to from here, it would be really great.
