Oh, those are so cute!  I would love to make a sweater for my cat but anytime I put clothes on her she just falls on her side and acts like she's paralyzed.

I've never done this but have wanted to try.  How badly does the yarn fade with repeated washings?

That's a great idea. I own a ceramic studio and one of the things we do, is have the guests sign a huge platter that we glaze afterwards.  They are always really nice and much better than signatures that will be tucked away in a book somewhere and hardly ever seen.

I love them!  So simple and cute.  I'm going to have to make myself a few of those before summer is over.

Whoa....hats off to you for doing all the Hong Kong seam binding.  That's some serious work!  It looks great.

Seriously, though...buy a serger.  I sew SOOO much more (and better) now that I have one.  I make at least one outfit a week as opposed to once a every other month or so.

So I made my own, also using Thick & Quick yarn with an N hook.  Took me exactly 4 skeins.  I wasn't accounting for the weight of the bag with all of my stuff in it when I made the handles, so I think I might redo them shorter and wider.  Aside from that, I looove it.
