1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Baby Uggs from the Candi Babies Pattern on: October 13, 2006 11:00:39 AM
Here are the Baby Uggs I made using the Candi Babies Pattern.  I stuffed them with tissues to make them stand up, but they are still kind of flopping!  I used the Berocco suede and plush I knit them with sizes 4 and 5 needles.

If anyone has made these and put them on a baby, please let me know how they fit.
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Sorority Picture Frame on: October 13, 2006 10:48:22 AM
This is my first post!
I recently graduated from college and I'm going back next week for Homecoming!  I found out that my sorority grandlittles (I have 2!)are taking littles which makes me a great grandbig!  I bought some little goodies for the girls, but I also wanted to make something for the girls.

I chose two of our three sorority colors to use to paint the picture frames.  I bought $1 wooden picture frames and $0.25 letters from the craft store.  I used acrylic paint that I already had.  I much prefer to mix my own colors.  After painting, I covered it with a clear gloss coat and added plastic jewels.  It's a perfect sorority picture frame.  Let me know what you think!
