I don't like how it used to look at all... and I'm totally in love with the mini skirt you made   Smiley

thank you so much!

A friend of mine told me "Nice job, I like the bib part"
What the hell? A BIB?!? My victorian-inspired collar looks like a bib?! haha I suppose it looks like a bib, but it's cute, isn't it?   Roll Eyes

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Mens button up shirts ---> Feminine collared blouses! on: May 11, 2009 08:10:23 AM

After :

(well it's not exactly the shirt I used, but it was one of these hideous hawaiian button up shirts, you know?   Roll Eyes)

After :

No before picture for the third one, but you can easily guess it was just a striped mens shirt Smiley

After :

So basically I made these 3 blouses from gently used men shirts. I changed almost everything : I gave them flutter sleeves and a ruffled cowl neckline with black lace. And then I cinched it under the bust with elastic.

I really like to work with something as masculine as a button up shirt, I've just finished making dresses out of guys shirts Smiley I can't wait to show pictures of them!   Cheesy

Missmoppet : there are interesting ideas in the book "Generation T", I bought it years ago and I think it can help a beginner.
Other than that, I've just experimented a lot   Smiley
