Wow, I have been absent from craftster for a *few* weeks now, and pop back in to find that this was a 2008 Best! Thanks so much! Glad I could pass along a little inspiration.

Queenofdiy, love your results!

That turned out fabulously!! I am so glad I could share a little inspiration. And I loved how you said (in my thread) that it looked like a "dog threw up on it" ... pretty accurate. The stitching is what really brings it together.
17  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Bookmark Swap Gallery on: January 17, 2009 11:54:33 AM
I am finally getting around to posting pics of my awesome bookmarks. I have received them all. If I have the names wrong, I apologize ... I have been piling them up until I got around to posting and may have mixed them up.

Awesome crocheted bookmark from phnxreign99. She thought it was a little long, but I love it!

A fun one, made from envelopes and postage from around the world, from ineedart. The card she sent it in was beautiful, too.

On the left, two bookmarks from Rhymesworange ... it probably doesn't show well, but the first one is made of a digital collage of travel pics. It is really fun to look at. The one on the right is from laideebugz, and was sewn on her sewing machine. It is extremely intricate ... can't imagine how she did it!

Thanks so much to each of my partners!! Happy Reading~

It is so cool to see all the different directions the bookmarks went in! I have received three of my four, and will be posting pics in the next day or so. Each is fabulous, in very different ways.
