I received my last bird yesterday, so here are the final three (I had not gotten around to putting them up here yet!):

This bright little birdie is from Oh That ... I love the fabrics.


A lovely little bird from an old Finnish-Swedish dictionary, with poetic writing by Foxlet. It is really beautiful, and just makes me smile when I read it. She also sent along an origami bird, and a version of this with a purple background so that I could choose which I liked best.


And my final arrival, Larry, from Babbetto. I so love Babs birds, and am very happy to now have one to call my own!

... The first is a beautiful fabric bird from Colorfuldayz. I am totally in awe of the patience and skill which went into this. There must be about a hundred french knots ...

These are absolutely fabulous!! As someone else said, I would love to see a tutorial, or even a little brief summary of how you got from picture to design.

How fun, with all the little birdies coming home to roost! I am amazed at all the different takes on it. I love the woodburning. I also received one of jrain's amazing papercut owls in a forest, and will post a picture later of it. This is a really great swap~
