1  Scarlett Blossom (I got published too ;o)) in Crochet: Completed Projects by Pyogazel on: September 19, 2008 01:15:21 AM
This was something I did in 2006 for the crochet olympics, but then, when I heard there was an upcoming book by Camonade, founder of the Crochet Liberation Front, I thought it would be the perfect candidate...

It's ribbon yarn, my all time favourite yarn to crochet.
Writing the pattern was no piece of cake! But the tester did a great job!

I love this sweater because I get to wear it in many different ways, and I can continue buying strapless dresses that I never dared to wear before  Grin

4  ma beaut - a boteh scarf in Crochet: Completed Projects by Pyogazel on: July 16, 2007 04:44:16 PM

my version of Kathy Merrick's boteh scarf.

It is a really beautiful design and a very quick project, considering the fact that, not having bought the pattern, I wrote it down from the pictures I collected from crochet blogs and still, it took me 3 days only. My daughter likes it very much, so she gets to wear it and I get to take nice pictures

read more and see more pictures here

Thank you for looking Smiley

5  C'est un tout petit monde - market bag in Crochet: Completed Projects by Pyogazel on: July 16, 2007 04:36:26 PM
C'est un tout petit monde = it's a small world

It goes from this :

to this :

Why?
Because the eco-friendly shopper in me has long been wanting a shopping bag that would be easy to stuff in my ever-so-trendy-but-too-small handbags and would not endanger the life of sea turtles (you know plastic bags kill them, don't you?).

read more here and here

Thank you for looking!

7  Re: My foot... in Crochet: Completed Projects by Pyogazel on: June 01, 2007 11:06:12 AM
First I have to say i hit the "this rocks" button, because it is really cool, even if accidental!

Secon, I tried to recreate your foot, but I skip the "chain two" part for a more solid look, and I wrote it down...

here's how it goes

1 - chain 10
2 - turn, 1hdc in second chain from hook,, one hdc in every following chain stitch,
3 - turn, 1hdc in every hdc and between every hdc except the 3 last hdc and 2 last spaces between, finish with 3dc and 2hdc
4 - turn, chain three, crochet 5 dc tog in the last hdc of the previous row (bobble), chain three, slip stitch in same stitch as bobble, slip stitch in next stitch, chain three, crochet 4 dc tog in the same stitch (bobble 2), chain three, slip stitch in same stitch as bobble 2, slip stitch in next stitch, chain three, crochet 5 hdc tog in the same stitch (bobble 3), chain three, slip stitch in same stitch as bobble 3, slip stitch in next stitch, chain two, crochet 3 hdc tog in the same stitch (bobble 4), chain three, slip stitch in same stitch as bobble 4, chain 2, crochet 3 hdc tog in same stitch as bobble 4 (bobble 5), chain two, slip stitch in same stitch as bobble 4 and 5, fasten and cut yarn.

Tada!

Sorry, those are kinda blurry, I was so excited  Grin

and the "art shot" is on flickr  Cool

Thank you for a GREAT tute!!!
