This is a bit belated, but I recently completed a Whedonverse swap and this is what I sent out:



It's a knitted Dr. Horrible.

I made gloves, boots, goggles and a lab coat, and the undressed doll matches Billy's outfit in "My Freeze Ray." The hair's not a dead-on match, but I wanted it to stick up when you put the goggles on.

So I've been working on a collage series entitled "13 Scenes of our Usual Bliss" for a little over 2 years now. And I finished all 14 collages...but now I don't know what to do with them. Should I just leave them be and hang them somewhere? Or put them together in a book? Or something else altogether?

(I like idea of a book, but there are only 14 of the collages, which seems like a fairly skimpy book to me...)

Any ideas what to do with these?

I made this for a friend last holiday season, but only got to uploading the pics from my camera recently. I knitted this on size 9 needles, with Caron Simply Soft in red and black (my friend's favorite colors).

I didn’t know how to fair isle when I first started the scarf, so the back was rather messy. I created two red blocks that did weigh the scarf down/flatten the ends rather nicely, but in the future I’d probably knit a second black scarf, or an inverse-colored scarf with red and black swapped to mask any messy stitching on the back.

So my friend's birthday is coming up, and I have yet to think of an original way to give her her gift. See, we both wrapped our charm-bracelet present for a mutual friend in about 2 million sheets of paper, and for my birthday the two of them did a huge confusing scavenger hunt that i hear, in the original plans, would've required me to swim across a pool to find the next clue...anyway, it's time to do it again/get her back and think of something equally clever/oddball/annyoing. any ideas?

I am having soooo much trouble crafting for my family this holiday season. my parents and little sis don't really fall into any of the "obvious" categories for presents. any ideas?

My dad is a work-a-holic doctor. He runs a lot and listens to history books on tape. He's into classical everything- music, broadway, art, poetry, but he's usually too busy working to persue his interests.

My mom has told me she doesn't want anything for the holidays, but i still want to get her something... She doesn't wear makeup or jewlrey and doesn't like any beatry products. She's a computer programmer, she likes mystery novels, and she loves professional crafts (and magazines like CRAFT and such).

My little sister is 12 and obsessed with virtual internet games like Disney's Magic Kingdom and Gaia. She's semi-active and likes reading and she writes a little. She's funny, kind of a drama queen...I have no idea!

Help?!!
