oh and I use plain old printed images on paper from my printer (no transparencies) and it seems to work fine and dandy

I recently started silk screening and believe me it's been trial and error but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it.

The only thing I do differently then most of the tutes I've seen, is that I burn my screens in the sun.

I live in Las Vegas so theres no shortage of sunny days.It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to burn the image and that makes me happy because I'm impatient.

I use acrylics right now but one of these days (when I have money) I'm going to get me some oil paint....I like the way oils can be built up for more depth.

I bought a pair of big furry bear feet slippers awhile back......they ended up on the front legs of my sofa after I painted those pictures lol I was sitting there looking at them near the couch and I just couldn't resist  Roll Eyes

People that came over must have thought I was nuts but they looked really cute ......so whatever  Grin

My couch is however barefoot at the moment....hmm??  maybe a pair of converse would look spiffy? lol
