this is my first post, I look at this page everyday, but am no darn lazy to post my own stuff, just comments. well, I've been thinking about making this sweater forever, and started it a week before christmas like and big dork, becuase I asked my boyfriend what he really wanted and he said " well, I'd really like that sweater that you've been thinking of making....if it's not too late.... " and how could I possibly resist that? a request like that MUST make the boyfriend sweater curse null and void, right? well, apparently it does, even if you end up giving it for valentines day instead of christmas.
it fits and he loves it, and it opened him up to the world of cardigans. yea! so happy, and now every other knitted projects seems to go soooo fast!
its from the book " vintage knits" from the rowan people. I did it in elizabeth lavold " silky tweed" or something like that. the rowan tweed isn't made anymore, and it was ridicoulously expensive anyway. beautiful sweaters in the whole book, but the directions were really vague and left a bit too much guess work for someone like me that's never knit a sweater.
so here it is on the boyfriend himself!
