5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / my refinished furniture on: April 03, 2007 03:04:37 AM
hi-
i want to show off a thing or two i just completed........i just finished refinishing some very boring living room furniture.  i had one hell of time coming up with an idea for it, let me tell you!  i'll show before and after shots (I may still change the handles).

btw, i followed what seems to be a new trend these days in interior design......matching furniture color to the color of the walls.  personally i love this.  and i think it really works with the other pieces in the room...... a hope chest stained a natural walnut (which serves as a table), and a striped couch.

PS it seems i'm not allowed to post pics yet in posts, so i'm just posting links to the pics......sorry.

6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / selling photos to scrapbook paper co.'s on: March 22, 2007 07:22:10 AM
hi there-
it has been suggested to me that i try selling some of my photos to scrapbook paper companies..... they use photos sometimes as designs for their paper.  anyway, the person who said this, thought my more abstract nature photos would appeal to some companies, but i never got the name of any companies from her to try.  i was wondering if anyone here could help me out with that.  thanks!!

8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / ideas for sprucing up ugly ironing board cover on: September 27, 2006 08:17:22 AM
hello!

i just got a new ironing board and it came with the most ugly board cover.  i could buy another cover but  1.)  i don't really have any money and 2.) i like the idea of re-vamping the one i have somehow.  but!  the pickle for me is, whatever i put on it has to tolerate heat obviously and washings.  anyone have any ideas for that one?  wondering if iron-on transfers tolerate heat?  thanks a bunch!
