Sounds really fun...I'm totally down to join this.  And I agree, I think it might be fun to keep the same partner cuz I always think of a bunch of different things to craft after the swap...

27  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Post Photos of Your Tattoos! on: June 13, 2007 04:02:06 AM
Everyone's tattoos are so cool!  Here are the pictures of mine:

The first is a dove of peace, which my mom, myself, and my two younger sisters got done in Hawaii last summer.  It was done by Steve of Rainbow Falls tattoo in Kona.  It is very special to us that we all have the same tattoo.  The dove is holding a plumeria, which is the flower of hawaii, to symbolize our trip and when we got it done.  I love that we all have the same tattoo!

This is my newest one, which I just got done a few weeks ago.  My best buddy and I got the same tattoo only in different colors (her's is purple and pink).  It is two cherry blossoms (which I LOVE).  This one was done by Roger at Action tattoo in Yorba Linda, CA.  He is quick and very very good.  Also very reasonable.

Can't wait to get more, I think I am addicted.  Maybe a backpiece next Smiley
28  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / cover for my planner on: June 13, 2007 03:50:56 AM
Well, I'm a bit on the lame side and just bought a planner for this year (yes, I know it is june).  They only had inserts of the ones for this year, so I just glued a piece of cardboard to the last page (so there would be two hard surfaces), and covered it in felt.  It is hand stitched with embroidery floss.  I also stitched a bit of elastic in the back, so that I can wrap it around the planner to keep it shut.  I am in lurve with it!

29  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / first tote bag on: June 13, 2007 03:46:57 AM
Here is the first tote bag I ever made!  Yay!  It was last month and I learned in sewing class.  It is a bit grubby now and I don't have the best pics of it, but I love it and I use it every day.  Plus, I've used this pattern again and again!

30  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Sister's b-day present: plain black sweatshirt to dragons! on: June 13, 2007 03:44:04 AM
This is something I made last year for my littlest sister's bday (she turned 15).  She loves dragons and darkness and such, so it seemed appropriate.  I hand sewed the ribbon on and then just stenciled the dragons with acrylic paint.  My roommate at the time did the caligraphy...it means courage and is the same as the tattoo she has on her back.  It turned out pretty well and it's held up great in the wash!
