So I decided to take pictures of the sewing room as it is now. They're in a folder optimistically labelled "sewing room change", and I'm really hoping things look a bit different by the end of the year.
This is the view walking in the door:
From the door this is the right hand wall. Or part of it, it was hard to maneuver around enough to get clear pictures:
The dresser is four drawers high and entirely filled with patterns, and there's two laundry baskets of WIPs in front of it. And there are two columns of boxes to the left of the white boxes partially pictured.
This is the top of the wall that has the door. There's another column of boxes behind the "zippers" column.
This is the bottom of the door wall:
Laundry baskets are more of my mom's WIPs. There are two columns of boxes behind the box with the orange on top.
Not pictured: the five boxes in the breaker room, the two boxes in the bathroom, or the ten-ish behind the wet bar.
I think I'm going to start by making a list of tasks. It'll seem less overwhelming if there are like 50 things I need to do that take a half hour each, and can get an endorphin release from crossing off a list, as compared to the endless vague task of "clean sewing room".
