1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: My Cute Zoo Dress on: June 08, 2007 07:46:49 AM
That's right. I did it. Your dress has been this rocks'ed.  Smiley

I love that you made the dress for going to the zoo, and it turned out really well, too. I want some money for elastic thread so bad.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Why must all my dresses make me look pregnant? on: June 03, 2007 04:40:29 PM
Not that pregnant is a bad thing. Just not the look I'm going for at this point in time. Wink

I have a little waist, and I have a hard time making myself dresses that fit in the waist and top, with bigger skirts. So I've tried gathering the skirts now, but they always puff out way too much.

Any suggestions for making dresses that have fitted tops and flared-ish/a-line skirts (skirts don't even have to be super flared - my butt's not that big, I just like the wider skirt.)

Then again, maybe I just have a special talent for looking pregnant.  Tongue

Thanks!
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Polo with all-over doodles...by hand. Please look! :) on: April 14, 2007 05:04:59 PM
I. Love. This.

Way to go.

I say that when it gets too small, throw a longer tank top on under it and you're good to go. (I'm a little too lazy to ever take the pains to make my clothes bigger, so I just wear regular size shirts under them and call it cool.)

I totally understand about being tiny - but I'm happy being short and small! I have stuff that I've made which I'm about to grow out of too, and it's sad - especially because I grow so little and I haven't had to say goodbye to any clothes that I love in a looooong time.  Grin

Any chance of you sharing the pattern for the slipper socks? Or letting me know how to get it? I know it's your own pattern - nice job with everything!
