they only took one skien of Lorna's Laces to complete (i have pretty small feet though).  more pics and details on the blog!

i made myself a pair of the Broadripple socks for my birthday.  

i think that i like them better in the solid yarn than the variegated.

i have 2000+ yds of georgeous laceweight cashmere in a beautious red color, and i'm looking for ideas for patterns.  i want to make a shawl/wrap but i have too many patterns to choose from!  what do you think?

a lot of the handspun on this board looks really thick and chunky.  i have a hell of a time spinning anything that isn't really thin (think laceweight).  what is the best way to catch onto the process of spinning more thickly.  any advice?

after not spinning for almost 4 years, i picked up some roving last night.  i spun up a bit, and the yarn came out soooooooo fuzzy...like a puppy or something.

see?  any ideas on why this happened?  i'm not an experienced spinner by any means, and the huge break i took didn't help.
