i started my second Sahara on sunday.  i'm using Noro Lily yarn that i've had in the stash for...oh, almost 3 years.  i just hope that i have enough!  i'll post pics when i finish it up.  (i'm almost done with the main body)

yeppers, they are (which is awsome since it's so freakin' cheap)
i'm using all three blues, the light and med. greens, and the "cool" browns (iirc they are bark, nutmeg, and twig)

here's the swatch i made with the colors from Knitpicks (i decided on swatch number two from the set)

i haven't started the actual sweater yet--i think it's going to be an after-the-holidays project.

i want to make this sweater for my birthday present this year (it'll be late) but i'm having some doubts on color combos.  i really want to substitute Knitpicks Palette, and the slim color choices are really screwing with me.  i put up a couple of possibilities on my blog, and i'd really love some feedback on them!

thanks for the help!

Very pretty!  And I love the color.  Does the pattern use short rows to make the triangular segments?

nope, not a short row in sight.  just a clever use of yarnovers.  this shawl was dead easy to knit.
