1  Pet Snuggies! in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by gocoolmandi on: October 27, 2011 06:08:08 AM
So I have a friend who is obsessed with Snuggies (blankets with arms, basically... Huh) When I saw a pattern for a pet snuggie (McCalls M6174) a lightbulb went off!  I am going to make him a Snuggie..... and a matching one for his cat!

Of course, I had to test it out on my own little one first.  I have never sewn any clothing and never sewn from a pattern, so I wasn't sure if I would actually be able to figure it out.  For a first try, I think it turned out great!  It's a little tighter than it is probably supposed to be -- it fits her more like clothing and isn't baggy on her -- but she actually liked it!

I can't post pictures yet, but here are links:

Now I just need to find the perfect fleece for matching Christmas snuggies!  Grin
