you need a laser cutter.

its laser cut plastic.  you would most likely have to design it and then outsource it to somebody, considering the fact that laser cutters are expensive.

With the fusible fleece, does it come out puffy?

Makes it feel like the fabric is lined with a very lightweight felt?  I don't know how to describe it, but the fabric feels strong but soft.  Not quilted.

I think I need a little more practice before I try pleats, though.

They're not pleats though! They are panels that are ironed creativly to look like pleats.  i promise!!!

hahah they were initially intened for etsy but i have finished 5 and every time i finish one somebody in real life buys it before i can put it on etsy so my etsy is currently empty!  ahhh i should stop complaining about too much selling
