from my experience of making 121 one these...the best sized strip is around a half inch x 11in

Now I have to wonder if you could fit tiny scraps of paper inside of those stars to mix with this: http://www.pixiedustgifts.com/gifts/category/sayings/108index3-27-0.php

what i did last year was write on the actual paper strips, and he had to undo each star to get the message inside.

oh my gosh i love you. in a non-creepy appreciative of your talent kind of way. lol i have been searching endlessly the past few days trying to find a cute chocolate hedgehog process. but everything was ugly.

wow i love these! did you have any problems while baking? i know that ornament glass is pretty thin so i didnt know if the heat + the weight of the clay would make them break?

Hmmm... maybe for the hot water bottle, you could cut a hot water bottle shape out of felt or a heavy cloth... instead of water, stuff it with rice and sew closed. Then you can heat it in the microwave and pop it into his cage with him. It won't be an actual water bottle, but it will look like one, and probably retain heat better than an actual water bottle that size would. Wink

that's an amazing idea!!! i have something just like that for myself when i have sore muscles...i could totally make one for the little guy...i just hope he wouldnt try to eat it!
