Yesterday I downloaded the "Loved" pattern via knitpicks and finished it this afternoon.



My five-year-old is completely in love with it (she plans on sleeping with it on tonight). I just wanted to share because it's so cute and could be a really cute quick gift for a kiddo in your life.

So I had sad brown pillows, I still love them cause they are feather pillows and are still squishy-soft and I bought them on sale many years ago. However, I have kids, three kids so they are stained and ugly so I decided to make slip covers for them.

I'm also trying to bust my stash so I used a twin sized flat bed sheet (blue) and the black n' white silky fabric was something I had bought years ago in hopes of making a dress (never going to happen) for 1.50 a yard on clearance.





My kids are fighting over the one that's entirely silky. I have one more pillow to do and am completely out of ideas. I guess maybe half silky-half blue. I actually have a lot of the sheet left!

ETA I figured out how to cover the 4th pillow, I had made a throw out of our old blue jeans a couple of weeks ago and have a lot of scraps left (I never throw anything away...) so I made the pillow out of that and used the blue for the back. It doesn't really go with the other ones but I like it well enough. The throw is in the back of this picture...

I've finished stockings for my three kids. I need to make two more (for me a hubs) but I was so excited to get the kid's done I had to post.



I let go of my perfectionism and allowed each of the kids to pick their own colors. Oldest picked orange, middle girlie picked blue, and they picked purple for the baby (she's 1). I think they turned out so cute and I'm so glad I let them pick their colors.

I'm really happy with how it turned out, of course it I get to looking at it too long I see some spots that could use some work but I've decided that I'm DONE.



I used a wire wreath form and wired everything to the wreath with floral wire.

My grandma gave me a box from an estate sale full of crochet stuff (i don't crochet) i ended up giving most of it away but I held on to these, I have no idea what they are or what to do with them but I can not just toss them, someone made these, and I don't need to go into this with you all cause I know you understand but what do I do with them?

I picked up some yarn from Joann's just to see if I could do this before I ordered some wool to do a set for my family.



I love it! I never thought I could do color work nor follow a chart but I did it and now I'm telling everyone. My grandma tried to take it home with her, a very high compliment. yay!

My kids love to have a campfire so I thought I'd make them one they could have inside.



Now my daughter wants a felt stick with a removable felt marshmallow but I think this will keep her busy for a little while...

I've made three of these in the past month for xmas gifts!
