I think I'm going to make them into brooches as soon as I figure out what kind of brooches they want to be.
They're both made with 3 strands of thread and in backstitch and satin stitch.

I finally made the cherries into a brooch



It has two layers of cotton fabric and some padding in between them. Then added some sequins and beads for a little something extra.

I was at a Finnish nursing convention. Lot of the booths were giving out free crap, and I got these measuring tapes from there. What's a crafty girl to do? Make a cute brooch of course. I like it. And it took all the 150cm of the measuring tape and one button.



I made more earrings. I covered a button with fabric from my broken umberella. I'm still haven't decided if they're ridiculous or cute.

I made a bag for my niece for her figure skating stuff as she told me to (not asked me to.. well, she's 9). It's huge, cos it has to hold everything and I think it's fairly cute. It took me all together 7 hours.

here are close ups on the pocket in the lining and the drawstring. It was my first time using those eylet things:

Yarn: Red Heart Dallas (100% acrylic) and Novita Red (80% viscose, 20% polyester)
Needles: 3,5mm circ.
Pattern: Improvised

The hat itself was the perfect mindless knitting for those knitting-during-classes experiences. The kind where you don't have to think about what you're knitting, you can just let your hands work on their own and pay attention to the teacher. I knitted the hat during one school day. The pom-pom and the heart took me almost as long as the hat itself (fine, maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit..)

I think it's cute

I had to change a zipper to my winter jacket, 'cos the old one was broken. And I don't want to throw anything out, so...

Yep, just plain black brooches. I usually like to keep things simple

I finally made the rockabilly angel embroidery. I have big plans for her, the reform school girl and some other mitch o'connell inspided embroideries yet to come.

I know everyone and their uncle has made these, but I never did...before now! And I love it. I actually made two, I'm giving the other one to my dad for christmas. I couldn't get a decent pic of the other one, 'cos there's just NO LIGHT in Finland this time of year

My tattoo artist had to do a picture search online to see what crochet hooks look like, how cute is that

Yeah, so I made a few little embroidery pieces using sublime stiching patterns. And then I made them into brooches. And that's that
