Oh yay I'm so glad you liked everything! I was worried b/c it's A LOT of pink, lol. Here are the pictures I took:

The soap dish was made from that special Sculpey that looks like stone.

The shower curtain. I love this fabric, it's a little too pink for me but the pattern is soooo cute. I only tied on a few of the ties here.

The Piece de la Resistance: the bathmat. I crocheted this puppy using alternating single crochet and loop crochet. It took about 5 times longer than I thought it would. I used Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn, about 6 balls of it, which was surprisingly inexpensive and amazingly soft. Just be sure you put a rug back under it, Briana, otherwise it will slip all over the place!

Here's a closeup of the stitching, the color is all wrong though. I took this thing everywhere so I could work on it, and now my friends want them too! lol! But I am going to have to come up with a faster way to do it in future. Maybe two strands of yarn and the biggest hook I can find?

Anyway, enough rambling, I'm so glad you liked everything Briana! That makes all the effort worthwhile!

As requested, more pictures!!!!! Here's the stuff sullengal made:

Sushi with wasabi and shredded ginger! I was astounded by the level of detail sullengal achieved here.

For some reason I love the angle on the hotdogs here. It's like, whoa! Exciting Sculpey hotdogs!

And the less-impressive but equally tiny stuff I made:

Amusingly, the FIMO we used for the cupcakes and the meringue on the key lime pie was glow in the dark. So now my dollies have glow in the dark cupcakes to eat. Whoops!

Cookies and pizza, the breakfast of champions!

And for scale, one of my Blythes with said cookies in a jar. I should have put her in a different dress, the cookies blend in with the leopard print! lol!

Finally--a picture of my stuffy! I got him from a friend on Valentine's Day. His name is Shmoopy.

Shmoopy is quite the ladies' man. Here, the Rambo of Love romances my Blythe dolls.

He is very excited about his upcoming adventure spreading sweet lovin' to unknown parts of the globe!

(This is time number three that I'm posting this. Let's hope it works this time!)

Okay! So here are the goodies for my pirate-themed bathroom:

A jolly roger rug, a skull 'n crossbones washcloth, and a pirate panda wallhanging!

Extreeeeeme Closeup of the cutest pirate ever! This wallhanging is so cute I might have to move it to the panda shrine!

Thank you brianaknits!

I received from atelier07020! This is one of the nicest swap packages I've ever recieved. Thank you atelier! And thanks to ptarmic wumpus for organizing!

And now, the pictures....

She sent me a huge box of stuff! Um, please excuse the dog head, my puppy was very curious about the package.

Here I got clever and used the dog to display the beautiful purple purse!

A closeup of the beautiful embroidery and beadwork on the purse.

Closeup of the album, which atelier stamped with boiled lotus stems.

Pin cushion and necklace. I wore the necklace to work today, it's so pretty and I'm not allergic to it, yay!

And here's me wearing the necklace, looking high, as always! lol!

Thanks again altelier07020, you are very talented and a GREAT swap partner!  I can't wait to start a project with the extra lotus fabric you sent, too! Squeeee!

26  Re: We Love our Blythes, Pullips and DALs swap Round 3 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by sarahpanda on: February 03, 2007 08:08:29 AM
I received from ConcreteJungler on Thursday!

Hazel immediately grabbed the rockabilly-style leopard print dress.

She insisted upon posing with her Harley. Now she tells me I must hurry up and finish her customization so she can apply to be a Suicide Girl!

Meanwhile, Lyla and Uli sorted through the various posters ConcreteJungler sent, and Lyla picked her favorite one. She loves Audrey Hepburn!

Lyla is wearing the amazing crocheted fedora and cardigan ConcreteJungler made. I wish you could see the details better--they're incredibly small and well-made!

Thank you ConcreteJungler, the girls love everything!

I'm so happy Pegeen likes everything! Here is a silly picture I took of Lyla in the dress with "Tony" (although at that time he didn't have a name!) before I sent them off:

The title of the photo is "OH NOES!"

Okay here are some pics (Sorry about the blurriness, the host website resizes the pics or something and they get blurry):

The girls with their beautifully wrapped gifts that arrived on Saturday.

Uli was so excited to get a new dress--and a Hello Kitty hat!

The fabulous hat. It's soooo cute!

Lyla loves her elegant new gown...

...and her matching coat!

Here's Hazel in pink!

A closeup of her super-cute hat...she'll get a lot of use out of this with the weather so cold!

All three girls together, looking very pleased with themselves...

...and their buttbows! I love this picture for some reason!

Thank you craftyandnappy!

And one last shot because I really liked this one. (also, I didn't discover the headband Lyla is wearing until I was done taking pictures!)

Thank you craftyandnappy, this was an amazing swap! I only sent you a few items, would you mind if I made some more things for your girls to assuage my guilt?

igobylorib, I recommend getting a PrimaDolly. The Ashton Drake Reproductions (known as ADG's) are not as pretty, except possibly for the most recent doll, Medieval Mood. People really seem to like MM, but the other ones look very green in pictures. Anyway, I think the PrimaDollies are just divine. Someone on thisisblythe.com/forum is selling primas for $70 plus shipping. Good luck finding that perfect girl!

Also, ChloeisCrazy encouraged me to post pics of my girls, so here are a couple...

This is Hazel. Her customization is not yet done, but I've been too busy to finish her!

Lyla is my very first Blythe. I love her hair now that it's short. I made this outfit too, including the string of pearls.

And here is my darling Uli. I know I shouldn't have a favorite, but I just love Uli. She is such a sweetie. She is a honey bunny once more with her face sand-matted and her lips repainted. She loves her stuffed animals and dressing up like a bunny!

Finally! Pictures of my stuff from mrscunningham!

A soap hearthstone, a shirt, and some "healer" jewelry! My boyfriend has been teasing me about how I've been upgraded to "Shaman Trainer" now, ha! The shirt is huge and comfy and I've been wearing it as a pj shirt, but I think I might make it into a tube top...dunno.

Closeup of the hearthstone. I was so amused by the "Decoration only" note, I kept it! The hearthstone is now on display in our guest bathroom, where all our friends are likely to see it.

Aren't these just tooo cute? I love the little pill bottles.

Thanks mrscunningham! Sorry there are no pics of the candy, my friends and I ate it all after we took the first set of pictures....Tongue
