1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Bits and Pieces Christmas Card on: December 21, 2004 07:22:43 AM
I had planned to embroider something for my best friend as part of her Christmas present but schoool (essays and tests) interferred so I still haven't finished it. Because she said that she had made me something, I still wanted to make her something, too. So, instead of the embroidery, I made a pretty (or I think it is anyway hehe) Christmas card using old bits of Christmas cards that my mother kept in a box (i think pack-rat-iness is genetic...im guilty of it too). Anyway, here's her card! I didn't want to write on it so I think I'll just stick her personal Christmas msg to the underside of the front.

This is the front

And here's the inside!

I think I'll probably attach the card with some ribbon (through the holes punched in the card)

(sorry for the crappy scan! hopefully, eventually, i'll get a digital camera)
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Crest thingy - my very first embroidery attempt on: November 18, 2004 03:20:53 PM
After browsing this part of Craftster, I decided to dip into the unfamiliar waters of embroidery...ooo...haha

This is my first attempt! I cheated and used a template thing that my mother had bought for me the last time she was in the city.

Is it okay, for a first timer? Or am I doing horribly? haha
3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / "Light My Fire" Panties! on: September 12, 2004 07:55:58 AM
Hey everyone! This is my first project post (eek!) and first & second stencil attempts (newly devirginized stenciller, please be gentle  Tongue). I've been debating whether or not I should even post my underwear, didnt want to offend anyone, hehe. But oh well, I'm just too eager to share something.

So here we go:

Bought some plain cotton bikinis from Wal-Mart but they're so incredibly boring, I decided to try out stencilling (too scared to try a shirt right off). The pictures are scanned (too poor for a digital camera/film haha) and they're quite horrible, as the panties somehow managed to get all un-smooth despite my frustrated attempts at trying to make them lay properly while they scanned.

Not feeling too daring, I only stencilled a wee little star and the ram (Im an Aries! yay!) from the font SL Zodiac Icons

Front of my Jim Morrison panties. In case you can't make out what it says due to my crappy scanning job, it reads "LIGHT MY FIRE" (hehe)

Back of Jim Morrison panties (again with the crappy scanning). It's such a extraordinary feeling, sitting at school all day, knowing that Jim Morrison is on your booty! woohoo! haha

Blah, the pictures really are awful (another reason why I probably shouldnt be posting, haha). I'm so sorry but I hope you like! Tongue

(Oh and btw, I think the Jim stencil is a Sushimifune stencil, so thank you for being so wonderful! Smiley)

(Dec.2: Edited to fix pictures!)
