1  rounded neckline in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by zoubs on: October 24, 2006 04:00:25 PM
can anyone explain to me how to create a rounded neckline for tshirts? for some reason, i can never seem to get it right. either it ends up ruffling or it just doesn't look good.

for an example of what i mean, a pic i found on google.

2  new bag! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by zoubs on: October 18, 2006 09:02:46 PM
hey everyone.

i posted here once before, a peach dress i had made.

i fell in love with this green plaid fabric, and used a heavy brown fabric for interfacing. i also added a plastic mesh/canvas to make it actually stand up, and used elastic in the handles to make it sturdier. what do you think? Smiley

i also just made a myspace page for myself. so if you have myspace and feel so inclined add me to your buddies. Cheesy

hi. i'm new to posting on this message board but have lurked here and there for the past while, and finally decided to make an appearance and show some of my work!

i thought i would share this peach dress i just made a couple days ago, i tried to go with a retro feel, and it's really only my 3rd/4th dress i've ever made but the one i'm most satisfied with.

i convinced my lovely friend rhiannon to come over last week to model it for me.

well, here goes...

this is the front of the dress, with a view of the pocket

another view of the front

a view of the back (my first time sewing on a zipper!!)

and a close up of the fabric i used, and the cutest apple buttons

thanks for looking. constructive criticism always appreciated.
