I haven't posted very much here yet, so I'm not quite sure if this is the right place, or is anyone can help me, but I'm getting married in July of 2009, and the tables at the reception will be black and white with red ribbon down the middle.  We have found great red ribbon for $2.00 at Dollar General.  They're 7 inches wide, and they only have 12 feet to a roll, which amount to like 1 per table (the tables are 8 feet long).  We need a bunch more than we have, and we've cleaned out all the Dollar Generals anywhere in driving distance from us.  (Not all of them even had it.) 

   So, all that to ask this:  does anyone know of a place where we could order some 7 inch wide, red ribbon online?  I've looked, but not found any.  Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.  Just wondering if anyone knew of any place or could help me.

nevermind..  i figured it out..  and it wasn't about what to wear..  i wanted some ideas on how i could make it a halloween anniversary thing..  but i guess i wasn't clear on it..  i'm horrible at these posting things..  sorry..  and thanks.. 

it's me... Lainey..  I posted last year for my one year Halloween anniversary with my boyfriend..  I didn't get to do anything cause I had other complications arise, but I'd like to actually do something this year....  I want it to be an all day thing, but I want to do many different things..  it's our 2 year anniversary..  and it's actually on Halloween, which is strangely appropriate..  anyways, please give me lots of cheap ideas...  I figure if I start now, I'll have plenty of time..  please help!! 

That's so cute!!  What materials did you use?  do you buy plain leashes and collars and embellish them or do you start from scratch?  I'm going to be getting a dog soon, so I was curious..  Once again, you did a wonderful job..  and the shrinky-dink name tags are so cute! 

I would love to do that..  I have a neice on the way...  Evelyn Rae...  so I would love to do that for her..  how did you attatch the pages to the back of the book?  That is so beautiful!!!!  Kudos to you!! 

Not really good at crocheting, but I can sure give it a whirl..  I have a month, right?  I'm better at like paper and painting and stuff..  and a little bit of sewing...  bu knitting and crocheting are my weakest..  So, I'll definitaly give it a whirl! 

Okay, so I'm new here..  and I wasn't sure about posting this here, but I decided to go for it..  See, my boyfriend and I will have been dating for a year on halloween...  which is actually quite appropriate considering we're both goth and love all that is dark...  We didn't intend  for that to be our anniversary, but it is and it's perfect for us...  But i wanted to know if anyone had any ideas..  I know it's kinda lame, but I wanted some ideas on things we could do or things I could make for our one year...  Again, I know it's kinda lame, but any ideas would be appreciated..  Thanks!

so.. i'm a newbie...  but i wanted to say that i love your idea..  and several people said you should have iced tea, and a few said you should have some mint tea...  well, if you choose to have some iced tea, you should make some spearmint sweet tea...  my mom makes it, and it's great..  the spearmint isn't a bold flavor, so it's nice and subtle..  plus, you can get a huge thing of spearmint for not too expensive, and it lasts forever!  it's so good..  just a thought..  have a good one!
