1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Love your wedding? Then show off your photos here! on: September 15, 2005 08:17:31 AM
i found it almost impossible to choose some of my favorite pics from our wedding, i was so happy with how it turned out, but here are a few:
we had it at a b&b in hudson, ny called the mount merino manor, that i would highly, highly recommend to anyone in the area who wants to get married and have a place to stay for the family all in one spot.  our hosts were perfect.

a pic of us in front of the manor

a pic of us with the tree we were married in front of

and the most important part of any event, the desserts.  we made three different tiers and covered them with tiny cakes of all kinds (cheesecake, chocolate, key lime pie, pecan pie) instead of an actual wedding cake...that way, everyone gets something they like.

cheers.

those are absolutely wonderful!
did you use photoshop to help seperate the color scheme in the stencil?
i've yet to perfect the two color technique...
kudos!!!!!!!

that's great!!
it is definitely worthy of something more substantial than a piece of cardboard.
LOVE IT!

5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: handmade wedding favors and placecards w/ pics on: July 11, 2005 03:30:33 PM
i think these are actually called "morning glories" but they work just like sparklers...i live in massachusetts and they're illegal here, but i bought these at a fireworks store in new hampshire.
i'm going to print little "warning" labels for the back of the cards (i.e. 'please don't throw on the ground when finished, please use at your own risk, etc')
but, we're not getting married in massachusetts, so i think it's ok.

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: yellow pearl multi strand wedding necklace on: July 10, 2005 08:37:02 AM
i had to use a link to add to the clasp, i found it here:
http://www.firemountaingems.com/details.asp?PN=H144539FD

and then i just added two strands to each link.  if you just wanted to use a basic multi strand clasp, you could use one of these, and you attach the ends to the inside of the clasp head...

thanks for all of the replies!

thanks!!
i guess it's more of a "formal gown" than a wedding dress, but it has a very wedding dress look about it, and i didn't want a white dress...
i'll take some pics of the wedding when the whole thing comes together.
thanks again!!
