7681  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: I'm all zipped up on: June 19, 2007 03:36:37 PM
I love it, but I would never be able to carry this! I'd be too busy zipping and un-zipping the zippers and everything would fall out. Wink

I love how you made all of the zippers functional and not just decorative. Great job!
7682  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: The "bosa nova pops" record purse on: June 19, 2007 03:34:20 PM
I really like the way you curved the edge of the records over to form the top of the bag! And, as has been said, the color co-ordination of the label and the fabric is spot on!
7683  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Plastic coins= Pirate Treasure Purse on: June 19, 2007 03:32:21 PM
Nicely done! How did you attach the lining?

I love how you used the album and the album cover! And, the interior fabric is a good choice Wink
7685  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: hoodie + tutorial [image heavy] on: June 19, 2007 03:25:07 PM
Thank you so much for posting this tutorial! I've wanted to attempt a hoodie, but wasn't sure how to begin. This is a tremendous help!  I have some fleece in a frog camouflage pattern and I'm thinking that this would be a very good use for it  Wink
7686  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: TUTORIAL: Singlet Style Shopping Bag (like the plastic shopping bag) on: June 18, 2007 06:35:37 PM
I have a bunch of reusable bags that have my grocery store's logo on them. And, somewhere I have a couple of totes that fold into tiny pouches. Problem is, they're so tiny that they are easily lost...as is the case right now!

I love your design because I can use it anywhere and everywhere! Plus, if I use cotton, it'll be machine washable! And, I can make a bunch of them so I will always have some in the car! And they'll make great gifts!! Thank you so much for sharing the tutorial!!!!

7687  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Owl Swap Round 4 Gallery! on: June 18, 2007 06:30:10 PM
daiconharuko- Your package from pandorascraftbox is fantastic! I love the stitching on the bag, and the images on the pins. And all of the owls on the owl board are so cute!

Ezri_b- I love the owl apron- the owl pockets are great! Very clever martyx9! The potholder and pincushion are just adorable. And, the stuffie looks like it is related to the stuffie that I got from christinacoghill!

I have come across more owl items that Id like to make- I might have to join in the next round if there is oneof course I could just make all of the stuff and keep it for myself! Grin
7688  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Sonora Sunset Tile on: June 18, 2007 02:34:26 PM
I might have to head out to the hardware store and pick up  a few tiles. This could make a seriously awesome, easy and relatively inexpensive gift. I have everything I need except for the tiles!

My coloring skills aren't nearly as good as yours though! I'll have to work around that little problem  Wink

Ooooh! Very nice! I'd like to try this so I'm also curious about which type of fixative you should use. Some fixatives make inks run, and it'd be a shame to have your work smear.

How big is it? Did you treat the tile at all before you stamped it? It looks like one of those unglazed ones.

And the image is great...it takes me back to a visit not so long ago...
7690  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: 73 Train Tickets on: June 17, 2007 07:57:54 AM
Hmmmm...I'd swear I posted to this the other night...probably forgot to actually hit the "post" button...

In any case, now that you've made your awesome bag, this might not apply anymore. But, you did say you still had some tickets left...

This link is for a "flexi-cube" made out of train tickets...and I'm jealous because I don't have any tickets like these and can't make one like it...
