Here is number 12 & 13!
#12 is the Treble Dipped, which really looks better in solid colors- the white doesn't show up when dipped into the variegated. And, as luck would have it, most of the variegated dips into the white happened during the white spots of the yarn. So, not too distinct. But, I still like it!
#13 is the First Dishcloth...modified... I didn't do as many pattern repeats because I was almost out of yarn, so I didn't do the edging either. Also, when I had to do the rows that required crocheting into the chain (which I hate doing), I crocheted into the back loop instead. Added some of that lovely texture And, somehow, I kept ending up with extra stitches, and I still can't figure out why. I may chart it out using symbols to give myself a clear count of stitches...then I should be all set for the next time!
I think I might try the Puff X next- but I need to choose a yarn that will make it show up nicely. I also just got Little Kitchen Helpers (Leisure Arts) which has a couple of neat ones that I may try. My mom's birthday is in August, so she might like a couple of them.
