7181  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: We call it "Daiebi", you call it what you want! Simple and ultra tasty! on: August 31, 2007 07:36:15 PM
I made this for dinner last night and it was soooooo good! Then, I brought some to work today and the line for the microwave was too long, so I ate it cold. And it was still goooooood! And the lady sitting next to me said she might make it for dinner herself Wink

I used a box of frozen asparagus spears  and cut them up. Yummy Grin

Thanks again for sharing your recipe!

Those are adorable! And, what is about clowns that makes them so freaky? I don't remember being wigged out by them as a kid, but now, as an adult...sometimes...

Ooooh...now I'm going to have to start digging around for more cool looking packaging...

I'm sending today....HUGE box!!!  The space ship (yes weird looks at the post office packing) took 3 tries to find the right box.  I hope Al makes it okay!!!

What? No limo for Al? Smiley

Of course you need a big box for Al -- how else will you fit his ego in there?! Cheesy Wink

Ha ha! You know, they used to sell these car care kits inside of a cardboard limo...I wonder if those are still available - that'd be friggin' hilarious to send Al home in a car!

How will I ever live with him when he gets home???

OOOPS!!!  I thought that too!  I see your point and it makes it easier to navigate but still all inclusive.  You guys are so shmart!

I just dropped of my pics at the local photo shop. The guy printed one out for me (2 wallet sized of each pic...111 pics X 2...a lot of pics...guess I went a bit crazy with the pics...) and he said it was one he picked at random. The random practice shot was of Kimi in her thong bikini! He just kind of looked at me as though I had two heads and nodded his head... Wink

Can't wait for Al and his ship!

Taraliejesbri and I started our scrapbooks today... we've each finished 3 out of 33 pages and it's taking us forever!  Here's the current state of my craft room:
 Shocked Cheesy Roll Eyes

Oh, My!   Shocked Smiley

Holy Hotdogs! Now I'm nervous about finishing by the 5th!! I have 111 pictures, but I made them small images. I'm heading to the local camera/photo shop to see if they can print them for me easily...probably 3 would fit on one 4 X 6 print. But, I don't know if they can do that... Then, I will be a scrapbooking fiend this weekend. I've never made a scrapbook before, so I hope it comes out okay!
7187  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Non-floral centerpieces (red/nature theme) on: August 30, 2007 03:27:48 PM
Okay, now it's definite! I love hummingbirds so I am finding a way to use this in my someday wedding!

I absolutely love this idea! What a fantastic and whimsical touch! And, to be honest, the dragonfly is my favorite Wink  I'd have to sneak a frog in there somewhere, too...
7189  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Chunky Button Bag - with pattern on: August 30, 2007 03:14:53 PM
This is such a nice looking bag! And, it sounds so easy. Plus, I love the fact that it is one long piece folded in half- if my edges look a little wonky, as they usually do, I can hide them in the seam.

Do you think I could get a similar look with Sugar N' Cream yarn? I crochet pretty tight...
7190  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Road Trip Dishcloth on: August 30, 2007 03:00:34 PM
It is awesome that you found out that crocheting helps you with car sickness!

The dishcloth is lovely, and the pattern seems great.  Fabulous job!

Thanks! I checked the pattern visually, but I haven't actually followed it to see if it works.

Besides, if I check it, it'll probably make perfect sense to me Wink

i love the colors!  i get carsick very easily, but crocheting in the car doesn't make me queasy either!

I wonder why that is? I can't read even for a minute! But I crocheted for several hours without even feeling slightly queasy. Perhaps I should do some further study on this...  Grin
