Those mini mitts are so cute! I need to make a set of those and keep them beside the microwave. I never have them handy when I need them...
And, the pic of your dog is fabulous. What a cutie! And apparently well trained, too!
And, I am one step closer to finishing my item. It suddenly dawned on me that this is my last week of vacation before I head back to school next week and I have a TON of stuff I haven't done. Been slacking big time (laid out with a back injury for a couple of weeks didn't help) so I've been dividing up my crafting time into little chunks each day. Sadly...
Wow! Your crochet classes are paying off. That yellow cloth came out great! And, the green one is a lovely shade of Al I wish I could knit, because I'd make an alien using that style where people knit the pictures in (I don't know what stitches they use, so I can't explain well...).
Hmmmm...maybe I should try to crochet an alien head!
And, I was just thinking of you today as I drove past our favorite comic book store...
Oh my goodness! Such adorable dolls! I like the different clay faces on the new ones and the different charms and such on the "danglies." I had considered making some out of shrink plastic, but then didn't. I might have to explore the possibility for the next batch. The piggie face and the server are a hoot! I need to use felt more...so versatile!
Those are way cute! And, much better than a business card that would most likely get tossed. How many "pages" did you put in each one?
I'm in charge of our recycling program at school and these would make neat prizes for the kids in the homerooms that recycle the most. I can make the pages out of recycled paper. And, by printing the covers out on cardstock (green, of course), I can put some recycling facts and stuff on them.
You know, I've seen these before, but I never thought of printing stuff on them with the computer. It opens up a whole bunch of new possibilities! Thanks so much for sharing your version of this idea!
Yeah... I blame it on my sister. I had an explanation all planned out- something along the lines of, "We wouldn't be as successful as we are today if you hadn't done such a good job taking care of things for us!" My sister was much more blunt in her explanation My mom really did take it well, and we wore them all day!
