I am so looking forward to this swap! And, even though I am a science geek to the core, somehow I came up with a ton of ideas for a math person! I can't wait to see who I get for a partner...but I can be patient just a little longer
Dragon*Fly- It was easy! I like crocheting in rounds much better- I have serious issues with edges and turning chains. For this one, I just made sure I marked where the 3rd chain of my starting set of ch3 was and I was all set.
And, Zelda.Suicide, I love the Twists yarn, too! I only have a skein of blue and purple left to work with though. I already used most of my green. They look so much cooler than the variegated, I think.
Tomorrow, I'll have about 45 minutes to kill between tutoring and meeting friends for dinner, so I'll be crocheting in the car again! I don't think I have a super easy pattern, so I probably won't finish it for a while...
I love this! I have a thing for zippers, so I might have to make myself one of these. I love the contrast between the black and the colors. I'll have to wait until I can get a good deal on the zippers, though. Looks like a road trip to my favorite fabric warehouse might be in order soon!
I finished another one! 9/50 now. This is the Fire Blossom in Sn'C Country Sage Ombre (the pattern called for red, but I didn't have any). It ripples quite a bit, so I may use a smaller hook (highly unusual for me) the next time I make one. The pic is a bit blurry, but it shows the color pretty well.
