Me, too! And gizmonic rocks for being your angel! It's too bad you never got your original little visitor back, though Sad

I'm not bold enough to try polymer clay for the cover, but maybe something on the inside!

And, based on what I had available in the house for supplies, I've determined what the theme will be. I've got a preliminary list of tiny items to tuck inside. I have almost everything that I need for those with just one exception, I think.

CraftADDchick I love your swirl stamps but I really like the ones you sent to Balki!
How fun those could be! I "may" just have to borrow that idea for something...

Thanks! And, borrow away...especially since I borrowed the idea myself!

And, glad you're okay love to bead! Good luck with the new career!

::raises hands::

I have supplies...
I start and hopefully finish tomorrow. I like to sit down, work for like 8 hours and be finished by the time I get up.

This is how I like to work on everything...but it's usually the night before something is due. That's just the procrastinator in me Wink

Seriously, though...I find that if I work uninterrupted, the flow of the final project (craft item, report, presentation, etc.) is so much smoother. And, while I may not be physically working on something until the final moment, I work a ton of things out in my head in advance. So, when it's time to get down to it, I actually really well prepared!

Okay, I'm really worried about love to bead, now! I hope that she's just crazy busy and not sick or injured  Huh

Since she received, I'm going to post a pic of the stamp set I sent her. It isn't a very good pic, because I carved on the printed side of the stamp (I had already drawn something else on the plain side but changed my mind...). And, I didn't save the paper where I stamped the image to check it... She said that one of her favorite artists was Vincent van Gogh, and I'm always (like now) wrapped in a blanket that has Starry Night printed on it, so I tried to imitate a swirl from the painting. Then, I made some companion stamps...

And, while I'm at it, this is the set I sent to balkandina. I saw a similar image in a magazine and this is my version of it...

Remember... I'm just a beginner... Wink

I was at the local Dollar Tree the other day, and in the candy section, they had a small selection of candies (Boston Baked Beans, Smarties, Atomic Fireballs, Lemon Heads) that came in a lunchbox-style (regular old rectangle) tin. Complete with plastic handle. I bought 5...they are a little big for this swap, but I should be able to use them for something Wink

Thank you craftADDchick for the heads up.  I have read over the pattern, not sure I understand the split fptr. But we will see when I get to it.  I may call on you if I have a moment with it.

It's not too hard once you do it...as long as you don't have extra fptr in the row before Wink

But, since I got help on mine, I'd be pleased as punch to pay it forward! Let me know if you get stuck Wink

Hands up if you're barely started!

Ummmmm...my hand is raised...

But this weekend I'm all over it! And technically, my weekend is already started, so I'd best get to it!

This is such a neat way to use the pattern! A gal I work with is due in April. This could make a really nice gift, especially if I filled it with stuff.

Thanks so much for sharing!
